2024 marks the third consecutive year HFP has received Mental Health America’s highest seal
PHILADELPHIA (March 25, 2024) — The Health Federation of Philadelphia (HFP) is extremely proud to announce it has been awarded the 2024 Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America. This is the third year in a row HFP has received the award at the platinum level. The Bell Seal is a first-of-its-kind workplace mental health certification that recognizes employers who strive to create mentally healthy workplaces for their employees.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by Mental Health America for the third consecutive year,” Natalie Levkovich, CEO of HFP, said. “As an organization, we strive to create a healthy, supportive, and inclusive environment for all of our employees. Our status as a Bell Seal-certified organization demonstrates this ongoing commitment.”
Mental Health America, founded in 1909, is one of the nation’s leading community-based nonprofits dedicated to addressing the overall mental health of all people. In 2019, the organization introduced the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health to recognize companies and organizations that understand the value of addressing mental health at work and implement policies and practices that support employee well-being. The Bell Seal recognizes employer advances in workplace mental health by awarding Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum recognition levels.
HFP underwent a rigorous evaluation of its policies and practices in four areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance, and wellness programs. Only 1 in 4 employers meet the standards for Bell Seal certification. Bell Seal recipients understand that time, intention, investment, and collaboration at all organizational levels are needed to support workers’ mental health and well-being.
